I am a writer, editor, layout designer, and photographer working in Brooklyn, New York.
My background is in communications for global social enterprises and NGOs, many based in India and Bangladesh. Currently, I am a contributor to Canvas8, a behavioral insight agency where I write about American and South Asian environmentalism and cultural trends. I have taken photographs for clients such as The Japan Society, CultureTrip, The Glacier Trust, Phool, and HerStory Foundation.
I hold a degree in Sustainable Development from the University of St Andrews with a focus on environmental justice and art history.
